A bold schematic face: two eyes, a mouth, and — as the stage allows — a nose and brows. Babies look longer at face-like arrangements from around two months. It is a preference, not a milestone, and a card is not a substitute for a real face at 30 cm.
How this pattern behaves when the distance asks for more than a sheet
Past a certain distance the design the tool wants is wider than the paper. This family shrinks instead of cropping, because half a face or half a heart is not a smaller face or a smaller heart — it is a different picture. That has a consequence you can see here: once the whole figure is already as wide as the sheet, printing it "for 250 cm" would produce the same drawing at the same size as the 60 cm one, so those cards are not published at all. For a card that has to work from across a room, choose a repeating pattern —stripes, a bullseye or a checkerboard.

The stage pages are the primary way in — they group everything a baby of roughly one age can use, across all the patterns.
Print at 100%. Choose “Actual size” / “100%”, never “Fit to page” —check your printer once. Want a different distance, paper or polarity? The generator makes any of them.
