Concentric rings around a single centre. It is the closest thing this catalogue has to a default: the rings give a lot of edge in a small area, the middle gives the eye somewhere obvious to land, and there is no orientation to get wrong when you hang it.

How this pattern behaves when the distance asks for more than a sheet

Past a certain distance the design the tool wants is wider than the paper. This family crops: the sheet shows the middle of a bigger design, at true size. Every bar, ring or disc keeps exactly the width the distance asks for — a repeating pattern reads the same whether you can see all of it or part of it — which is why bullseyecards appear at every distance in this catalogue.
