Everything here is free, and it stays free. If it was useful and you feel like it, you can chip in — but nothing on this site is behind that, and nothing ever will be.
What it costs
Almost nothing, which is the point. The generator runs entirely in your browser, so there is no server doing work and no bill that grows when more people use it. The real cost is the domain — about $15 a year — plus the hosting plan for the static files, which is free at this size. Everything else is time.
What there isn't
- No ads. This was a deliberate decision, not an oversight. An ad network on a site about premature infants, CVI and low vision would fill it with baby-product and supplement inventory — including “boost your baby's brain” claims — which is exactly the kind of promise this site refuses to make itself, and which we would have no control over.
- No tracking. No analytics script, no beacon, no consent banner, no cookies for measurement. See privacy — it has not changed to accommodate this page.
- Nothing uploaded. Images you convert into cards are processed on your own device and never sent anywhere.
- Nothing gated. Every pattern, every paper size, everyready-made card and every download is available to everyone, always.

That link is an ordinary link: this page loads no script, image or frame from anywhere else, so nothing about you leaves this site until you choose to follow it.
Free ways to help, which are worth more
- Tell a parent, a therapist or a teacher who would use it. Reach is the thing this project does not have.
- Check your printer once and tell us if the scale came out wrong — exact physical size is the one promise here that has to hold.
- Point out anything that reads as overclaiming. The line between “babies look longer at this” and “this will improve your baby” is the line this whole site is built on.
